Technology integration and partnership between Equivio and Nuix

The strength of Equivio lies in its text analysis. Nuix specialises in the extraction of data from a very wide range of unstructured sources with extremely fast processing to allow lawyers and others to make fact-based decisions.

Both companies are well-known in the eDiscovery and investigations fields, and a partnership between them brings obvious benefits to those whose jobs require them to make sense of very large volumes very quickly.

The new strategic relationship between Equivio and Nuix, which is announced here, enables a bidirectional data conversation between Equivio’s advanced analytics platform, Equivio Zoom, and the Nuix engine with its parallel processing technology and scalable, fast and accurate data indexing.

Both Nuix and Equivio, of course, have been taking big strides in the wider world of information governance as well as in their established fields of eDiscovery and investigations. As the press release puts it:

The combined capabilities of these two technologies have a wide range of use cases including e-discovery, data clean-up, ongoing data remediation, and the automated implementation of records retention schedules.
