AccessData webinar series: navigating information risk, investigations and privacy

AccessDataAccessData is running a series of webinars under the umbrella title Information Overload: Navigating information risk, investigations and privacy in today’s regulatory environment. The overall theme is one of preparation – devising policies and techniques for investigating data and facing up to existing and new regulations applicable to data governance and compliance.

The first of these webinars takes place on 27 June. It is called Information risk and compliance in the digital age and will cover the challenges of information risk and the systems necessary for managing it across the enterprise.

The panel members are Debra Farber, Privacy Consultant and former Senior Director, Global Public Policy, Visa and Bennett Borden, Chief Data Scientist and Chair, Information Governance Group, Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP

The second one, on 11 July, is called Managing internal investigations swamped with data which, among other things covers BYOD, insider threats. and the protection of privacy and IP rights during investigations. The speaker for this one is Mark Antalik, Managing Director, BDO’s Forensic Technology Services practice.

The last one, on 25th of July, called It’s no secret: Europe’s GDPR and other emerging emerging privacy issues, which will focus on new duties of risk assessment, data protection, breach response etc.
