FTI launches Relativity and RelativityOne in Hong Kong

As I have observed before, one of last year’s most interesting eDiscovery developments was the new partnership between FTI Consulting and Relativity, enabling FTI to supplement its own widely respected Ringtail with the ubiquitous Relativity and with Relativity’s cloud offering RelativityOne.

That relationship has taken a significant step forward with the announcement that FTI is to provide Relativity and RelativityOne in Hong Kong.

FTI has been offering eDiscovery services in Hong Kong for a long time and I have taken part in events with them there. They know as much as anybody (and more than most) about the difficulties specific to Asian eDiscovery, not least the difficulty of handling cross-border eDiscovery matters.

FTI offers more than just another Relativity outlet. It has long been respected for its team of consultants and its ability to develop workflows and advanced analytics to bring down the time, cost and complexity of large eDiscovery matters, particularly those which involve any or all of North America, Europe and Asia. It offers what it calls “an enhanced Relativity solution” adding its own proprietary technology to Relativity’s core solution.

Here is FTI’s press release about the Hong Kong launch. Relativity’s press release is here.
